JAVA Senior Developer Job Description 1. Strong technical hands-on experience(>9 years) on server-side development (Java, Micro-Services, SQL) 2. Design, build & manage Microservices-based components, including Load balancing, API gateway, Service Discovery and Registration. 3. Design, build & manage REST API services. 4. Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, alerting) are identified and addressed at all stages of a service/ product release/change. 5. Experience of working in Agile methodology 6. Shoulders application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities, contributing to team meetings. 7. Should be able to troubleshoot development and production problems/issues across multiple environments. 8. Strong experience in continuous build/integration/deployment tools including Jenkins, Git, Confluence and Jira and proven track record in developing and deploying applications. 9. Should be able to multitask handling projects running across multiple markets. 10. Understanding of functional requirements and translation of business requirements into technical specifications 11. Ensure business and technical architecture aligns with the customers functional and non-functional requirements. 12. Provide regular updates of progress and outstanding issues. 13. Should have good communication skills to collaborate & interact with cross functional teams.
