Job Title: Sr. Java Developer Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office) Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 4+ Years Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Java/API/Service Developer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring frameworks. You will be working as part of a high-performing agile team to build secure, scalable, and high-performance services that power our web and partner-facing applications. Key Responsibilities Design and develop RESTful web service APIs in Java to support member-facing and partner-integrated applications.Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and other developers in an agile environment to deliver business solutions.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using Test Driven Development (TDD) practices.Create unit and integration tests using tools like JUnit, Postman, and Swagger.Ensure performance optimization and troubleshoot performance issues across application layers.Develop database schema and write complex SQL queries for RDBMS like Oracle.Integrate with partner systems using SAML, SOAP, and other web service protocols.Implement API security best practices and utilize API Gateway technologies like Tyk for API authorization and control.Conduct design and code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.Proactively address and resolve development impediments to ensure sprint commitments are met.Participate in continuous improvement of code, processes, and development practices. Required Skills Minimum 4 years of experience in Java-based backend development.At least 2 years of experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.Proficiency with Spring MVC and/or Spring Boot frameworks.Strong object-oriented programming skills and Java core concepts.Experience with tools such as Eclipse, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Maven.Hands-on experience with application servers such as WebSphere.Familiarity with database design and querying using Oracle.Understanding of API security concepts and working knowledge of API gateways like Tyk.Experience in integrating SSO and web services using protocols like SAML and SOAP.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
