We are currently looking for a talented Java Developer to join our client's dynamic team in India. Role Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using best practices to ensure high performance and responsiveness. Implement new software features and functionality based on requirements provided by stakeholders. Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance existing software functionalities. Perform regular code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, testing, and deployment. Manage and maintain databases as part of the application architecture. Integrate third-party APIs and services into applications. Ensure the application design is scalable and secure while following best practices. Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications for future reference. Contribute to team meetings and participate in Agile development practices. Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance the application stack. Assist in providing technical support to users and troubleshoot operational issues. Ensure application performance through testing, optimization, and monitoring. Work closely with QA teams to ensure the successful completion of software test cases. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Java Developer (minimum of 3 years preferred). Strong proficiency in Java and its ecosystem. Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and microservices architecture. Knowledge of RESTful services and database management (SQL/NoSQL). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git). Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug applications. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in software testing and validation would be an advantage. Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends. Familiarity with DevOps practices is preferred. Previous experience in a similar role within an IT environment is an asset.
