Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of Java-based software development projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Monitor project performance against established KPIs and report on project status to stakeholders. Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness. Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement. Ensure adherence to project methodologies and best practices. Manage project risks and develop mitigation plans. Conduct quality assurance reviews and ensure that projects meet defined quality standards. Lead and mentor junior project managers. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in Java development and project management. Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Must have 13 to 18 years of experience in the lending domain along with JAVA experience, Project manager Proven experience managing Java-based projects using Agile methodologies (eg, Scrum, Kanban). Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with project management tools (eg, Jira, Asana, Monday.com). Experience with Agile project management frameworks (eg, Scrum, Kanban). PMP or PgMP certification (preferred). Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Java programming concepts and technologies. Familiarity with common Java frameworks (eg, Spring, Hibernate). Knowledge of relational databases (eg, MySQL, Oracle). Experience with cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
