Java Technical Lead

About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned and driven lead Java developer to join our dynamic product engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Java developers, overseeing project deliveries, and contributing to the architectural decisions for enterprise-grade applications. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Java developers to deliver high-quality solutions. Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java technologies. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA teams for smooth project execution. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and project estimations. Drive best coding practices, code optimisation, and technical documentation. Troubleshoot application issues and performance bottlenecks. Stay updated on new trends and suggest improvements to existing systems. Must-Have Skills: 5-9 years of experience in Java development, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, microservices, Oracle/MySQL, and MongoDB. Understanding of Git, Confluence, JIRA Strong understanding of CI/CD, Docker, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Jenkins Best to get profiles from the payment/fintech/telecom industry. Proficiency in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and Hibernate/JPA. Experience in SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) is preferred. A good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is an added plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Immediate to 30-day joiners preferred. Good to Have: Exposure to front-end technologies like React/Angular. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Any Java-related certifications (Oracle Certified, Spring Professional) are advantageous.
