Key Role Title Salesforce Javascript Full Stack Developer Reporting To Head of Salesforce Platform & Delivery (Consumer / Commercial) Summary A Salesforce Javascript Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and solutions on the Salesforce platform. They focus on the Javascript language and frameworks to create custom features, functionalities, and integrations to meet business requirements. Javascript Full Stack Developers collaborate with administrators, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the platform is optimized for the company s needs and is scalable for future growth. Key Responsibilities Custom Development Hands on experience in Javascript (JS) and JS frameworks like jquery, react, node.js etc Experience in debugging frontend code (JS, CSS etc) using IDEs and Browser developer tools. Integrations Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems (e.g., ERP, marketing tools, external databases) using REST APIs, SOAP, and other integration tools. Automation Develop complex automation processes to automate business processes. Data Management Write scripts and programs for data manipulation, data migration, and ensuring data quality across systems. Testing & Debugging Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure that custom code works as intended. System Optimization Monitor performance and optimize queries, code, and integrations to improve system efficiency and responsiveness. Documentation Create and maintain documentation on custom code, business logic, and integrations for future reference, compliance, and ease of knowledge transfer. Technical Skills Front End Programming languages: Proficiency with technologies such as React, Angular or Vue.js, Node.js..(Expert) Back End Programming languages: Proficiency with technologies such as React, Node.js., Express or Koa (Expert) Programming Practices: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. You should also be familiar with version control systems and agile development methodologies. (Expert) Data Management: You should be able to work with data, including data modelling, data cleansing, data validation, and data integration with other systems (ie: MS SQL). (Expert) Functional Design: Collaborate with designers to ensure user interfaces are visually appealing and user-friendly (Experienced) Technical Skills: Solid expertise on working with API layers and applying best practices in this area. Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with third-party services (Expert) Recommended Certifications, Experience and/or Qualifications Salesforce Certifications (Desirable): Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I: Entry-level certification demonstrating core skills in Apex, Visualforce, and general development. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II: Advanced certification that validates deep expertise in developing on the Salesforce platform. Salesforce Certified Application Architect: A higher-level certification for those pursuing a more architectural role within Salesforce development. Technical Skills (Strong Knowledge): Javascript: Programming language and associated frameworks for advanced customizations. Capabilities and competencies Support & Troubleshooting Provide ongoing support for users, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve technical problems. Work closely with other teams to implement new features and resolve issues. Task Management Manage your own tasks and work effectively as part of a team, including estimating effort, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines; inclusive of following Change Management Practices Understanding of Agile Methodology Experience working in an Agile development environment, including participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives Communication and Collaboration Skills Good written, communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical audiences Requirement Gathering: Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions Documentation: Ability to document code, integrations, and business logic for both technical and non-technical audiences.
