Job Description

Administration of Linux/Unix Environments & JBOSS: Responsible for the start-up, shutdown, maintenance, and resolution of incidents, including problem-solving, infrastructure changes, and impact analysis. Incident and Problem Resolution: Monitor and maintain business applications to ensure smooth operation, addressing any issues or incidents in a timely manner. Log Analysis: Identify and troubleshoot errors in process logs, ensuring appropriate action is taken to resolve issues. Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Development, Systems, Databases, Middleware) to escalate and track incidents requiring their intervention. Event Monitoring and Alerts: Set up and manage event-alarms to monitor system health, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). Automation Creation: Develop automation solutions to streamline routine tasks, improve monitoring, and enhance the early detection of potential issues in the back-end business processes, thereby increasing application uptime and availability. Impact Analysis of Infrastructure Changes: Analyze infrastructure modifications and assess their impact on business operations. Ensure necessary tasks are completed to address and adapt to these changes. Documentation: Develop, update, and maintain detailed infrastructure/platform documentation, as well as procedural documentation, to guide other teams. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to area managers, executives, and directors regarding system/application status, ongoing technical issues, and resolution progress. Incident Resolution Meetings: Actively participate in technical discussions and meetings focused on resolving major incidents or critical issues affecting business operations.
