Desired Experience:* Essential: Minimum 5 years of work experience with sound knowledge ofGeM related rules/guidelines, participating/floating of bids on GeM andmonitoring their pre & post activities along with resolution of the incidentsraised on GeM.* Applicant must have good communication, inter-personal skills, draftingcapability with computer knowledge.* Person working in Government Department shall be given preference.Nature of workTo manage GeM-related activities efficiently as well as ensure smooth operation ofprocurement/sales on the GeM portal in compliance of GeM guidelines. The JobProfile/Roles & Responsibilities of GeM Coordinator shall be as under:i) Act as the primary liaison between BECIL and the GeM portal.ii) Maintain the GeM IDs of BECIL, updating purchase orders, approvals, vendordetails, payments etc.iii) Coordinate with all verticals to ensure compliance.iv) Handle queries of all the Verticals, assisting them in understanding GeMguidelines, product listings, and compliance with quality standards.v) Oversee the entire process on GeM, from identifying requirements, inviting quotations, evaluating offers, placing orders.vi) Ensure all goods & services procured through GeM meet with the requiredstandards and align with procurement policies.vii) Handle purchase requisitions and maintain records of all procurementactivities within the system.viii) Regularly monitor and respond to relevant bids and tenders on the GeM portal,ensuring timely participation in government opportunities.ix) Ensure all activities on GeM comply with government guidelines and GeMpolicies.x) Prepare and submit regular reports on GeM procurement/bids participate.xi) Monitor and resolve any issues related to compliance, grievances, or platform discrepancies.Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Perks and benefits - PF& ESI,
