The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spatial data analysis, geospatial technologies, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and will play a critical role in delivering accurate and actionable geospatial solutions to meet project and client needs. The candidate will have the opportunity to lead complex geospatial projects, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and provide insights to drive business and operational decisions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage geospatial projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results. Perform spatial data collection, processing, and analysis using advanced GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.). Integrate geospatial data from multiple sources (satellite imagery, LiDAR, aerial surveys, etc.) into comprehensive models. Develop and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data quality and integrity. Create detailed maps, charts, and reports to support engineering, planning, and decision-making processes. Provide technical expertise in geospatial analysis for infrastructure, urban planning, and environmental projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineers, environmental scientists, urban planners) to incorporate geospatial data into project designs. Oversee and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and technical support. Design and implement geospatial data collection strategies (surveying, GPS, UAVs). Stay up-to-date with emerging geospatial technologies and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with local and international geospatial data standards and regulations. Provide troubleshooting and technical support to internal and external stakeholders on geospatial systems and applications. Qualifications: 5 to 9 years of experience in the geospatial field, including hands-on work with GIS, remote sensing, and spatial data analysis. Strong proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, ERDAS Imagine, ENVI). Experience with geospatial programming languages and tools (Python, R, SQL, etc.). Familiarity with GPS and remote sensing technologies, including LiDAR, UAVs, and satellite imagery. Knowledge of geospatial data formats, databases, and geodatabase management. Solid understanding of geospatial analysis techniques and spatial modeling. Ability to work with large datasets and perform spatial data transformations. Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Professional certifications (e.g., GISP, ASPRS) are a plus.
