Define and implement QA processes, standards, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new QA tools and technologies. Drive the adoption of automation across all testing phases. Drive the adoption of automation and AI-augmented testing across all testing phases. Cross-Functional collaboration stakeholder engagement Team Management: Recruit and onboard talented QA professionals. Build, lead, and mentor a team of QA engineers. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities. Test Planning and Execution: Build/extend/ maintain the test automation framework, tools and utilities. Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of various test types, including, but not limited to: UI end-to-end tests (using Cypress, Selenium). API and service tests Integration tests Contract tests Performance, scale, and resilience tests. Security tests. Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all product features and functionalities. Manage test environments and data. Leverage AI for different aspects of testing like Anomaly detection, security, test failure analysis etc. Automation and CI/CD Integration: Drive the development and maintenance of automated test suites using tools like Cypress, Selenium, and Pytest. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Implement automated test reporting and analysis. Optimize test execution for faster feedback loops. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Cypress, Selenium, Pytest). Strong understanding of database testing (SQL, NoSQL), API testing. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS). Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Experience with BDD. Familiarity with Microservices / cloud-native architecture and related test strategies. Quality Advocacy: Promote a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality product releases. Analyze test data and provide insights to improve product quality. Track and report on quality metrics and ensure 100% traceability. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2+ years in a management role. Proven experience in building and leading high-performing QA teams. Experience in Agile Methodologies. Experience working in SAAS products / web applications and cloud native architecture.. Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Cypress, Selenium, Pytest). Experience with test management tools like TestRail, X-Ray, Zephyr, Practitest etc. Experience with test data management tools e.g., Delphix. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and testing strategies. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience with database, performance and security testing. Strong understanding of various types of testing, including services tests, UI end to end tests, integration tests, contract tests, performance, scale, resilience and security tests. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment. Certifications in software testing or quality management. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience working in B2B e-commerce and building products from scratch would be a big plus. Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools and concepts would be a great advantage.
