About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement data-backed solutions. 2. Optimize site architecture, internal linking, page speed, crawlability, and indexation. 3. Handle on-page SEO (meta tags, structured data, keyword mapping) and oversee off-page strategy (backlink audits, link acquisition). 4. Collaborate with developers to improve HTML/CSS/JavaScript performance for SEO best practices. 5. Work with multiple CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace) and ensure proper SEO setup across each. 6. Analyze and report on organic performance metrics via Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc. 7. Implement and monitor technical enhancements (Core Web Vitals, schema markup, canonicalization, hreflang, redirects, etc.). 8. Stay current with the latest search engine algorithm updates and emerging SEO trends. 9. Contribute to content strategy with SEO-backed recommendations and gap analysis. 10. Support our web development and marketing teams with SEO-first thinking. Solid understanding of search engine algorithms, Core Web Vitals, and ranking factors. 3. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript; working knowledge of Python and Java is a plus. 4. Proven experience with WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, and custom-coded sites. 5. Comfortable with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, or GA4. 6. Ability to conduct competitor analysis, keyword research, backlink audits, and SEO diagnostics. 7. Clear communication skills and ability to translate tech insights into client-friendly reports. 8.
