Primary Purpose: The Server Administrator position is a technical role requiring basic to intermediate proficiency in multiple IT systems and applications. This position is responsible for supporting Stantec’s infrastructure which encompasses Windows Server services. Responsibilities Resolving incidents within agreed timeframes. Administrating OS, local license services Implementing new or replacement infrastructure. Monitoring the availability and performance of infrastructure components; initiating maintenance activities where appropriate. Helping peers, Support analysts and Global helpdesk staff. Documentation Participating in projects as assigned. Self-starter - Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to analyse, problem solve and troubleshoot Team player - Good interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with others from diverse cultures Embraces change and can tolerate ambiguity Ability to prioritize, organise and work under pressure Attention to detail, Ability to communicate verbally and in writing Customer service focus Willing to work outside local business hours and on weekends Bachelor’s Degree preferably in information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current Microsoft certification - preferable Minimum 3 years providing IT support preferably in a large multinational enterprise.
