The Key Account Manager & Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing and nurturing key client relationships while ensuring efficient procurement of goods and services. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market analysis, and a strategic approach to both account management and purchasing operations. Key Responsibilities: Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Develop and implement strategies to increase customer retention and drive revenue growth. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, resolving any issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities. Monitor key account performance and provide regular reports to management. Procurement & Vendor Management: Develop and manage the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of products and services. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing. Ensure timely procurement to meet client demands and business requirements. Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate their performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery schedules. Manage purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements. Work closely with finance and operations teams to optimize inventory and reduce procurement costs. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and procurement processes efficiently. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of supply chain management, procurement best practices, and vendor management. Proficiency in CRM and procurement software. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors/Master s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in key account management and procurement. Proven track record in client relationship management and supplier negotiations. Familiarity with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
