The position ensures that all equipment is maintained to meet production requirements, reduces downtime, and implements preventive maintenance strategies to improve overall productivity and reduce operational costs.Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Management:Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure the proper functioning of all foundry machinery, including Sinto moulding systems, HPML machines, and other associated equipment.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for Sinto and HPML machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum production efficiency.Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and emergency repairs on all critical machinery.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with machinery to ensure production targets are met.Leadership & Team Management:Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.Coordinate training programs to ensure all team members are up-to-date on the latest machinery technologies and safety procedures.Foster a proactive, safety-conscious work culture.Quality & Compliance:Ensure all machinery meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Coordinate with quality control teams to address any machine-related quality concerns during production.Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on machine health and performance regularly.Inventory & Spare Parts Management:Manage the inventory of spare parts and materials required for routine and emergency maintenance.Ensure the timely ordering and proper stock levels of critical components.Liaise with suppliers and vendors for sourcing high-quality parts and machinery components.Continuous Improvement:Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and efficiency.Monitor and analyse maintenance KPIs, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Stay current on industry trends, new machinery technologies, and best practices to enhance equipment performance and cost-efficiency.Safety & Compliance:Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and equipment inspections.Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team and across the plant.
