Position 1. Communication Assistant (Photo, Video, Editing & Animation) Overview: You will assist in the Audio/Video Lab and Animation Studio, helping students create compelling visual content. Key Skills: DSLR/mirrorless photography and videography Basics of 2D/3D animation (Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, Blender, or Maya) Position 2. 3D Digital Assistant (CAD, Laser Cutting, 3D Printing) Overview: It involves managing CAD modeling, rapid prototyping tools, and supporting AR/VR/Game Design using engines like Unity or Unreal. Key Skills: CAD software (Rhino, Fusion 360, SolidWorks) Laser cutting and vector file prep (Illustrator, AutoCAD) Position 3. Apparel Assistant (Master Tailor, Pattern Making) Overview: Supports the apparel design studios, focusing on garment construction and pattern development, while contributing to soft material prototyping for experimental design work. Key Skills: Master tailoring and finishing techniques Working with stretch, composite, and specialty fabrics Position 4. Model Making Assistant (Woodworking, Sculpture & Physical Prototyping) Overview: Responsible for physical model creation across projects from product mock-ups to environmental design models, using woodworking and pattern construction methods.
