Job Title: Lab Technician Department: School of Engineering and Technology Location : K.R MANGALAM UNIVERSITY, Sohna - Gurgaon Rd, Sohna, Sohna Rural, Gurugram, Haryana 122103 Responsibilities: Maintain and manage computer labs. Assist faculty and students with lab equipment and software. Ensure proper functioning of computers and troubleshoot hardware/software issues. Install and configure software applications as required for academic purposes. Maintain network connectivity and address basic networking issues. Maintain records of lab usage, equipment inventory, and system updates. Ensure security and proper licensing of installed software. Qualification: Diploma or bachelors degree in computer science /IT / BCA/ MCA Experience with Linux/Windows system administration. Certifications in hardware/software troubleshooting, networking, or system administration. Proficiency in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for engineering and programming tools. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in managing computer labs, IT support, or software installation. Skills Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of electronic circuits, electronic components, testing instruments oscilloscopes etc. Should be well versed with MS office tools. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to assist students and document procedures. Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain records and manage lab inventory efficiently.
