Disciplinary Processes and Investigations 7. Employment Law and Labor Relations 8. Handling Title IX and Campus Safety Issues 9. Student Affairs and Rights 10. Research Compliance and Ethics 11. Legal Documentation and Record Keeping 12. Advising on University Governance Preferred candidate profile Minimum three years working experience in a similar capacity, having experience in handling educational institutions cases. OR Five years’ experience as practicing Lawyer in district or higher-level courts having experience of handling educational institutions’ cases. Desirable – The candidate must have experience of drafting affidavits, petitions and replies on all legal aspects. Excellent use of computer, with full competency in English language Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in educational institutions or practicing Lawyer having experience of handling educational institutions’ cases. experience of drafting affidavits, petitions and replies on all legal aspects. thorough knowledge of regulations of Deemed Universities and of statutory bodies like UGC, NMC, DCI, AICTE, INC, NCISM, NCH, IAP, FCRA, SIRO, IPR, Patents, Copyrights, etc. Knowledge of labour laws, corporate laws, RTI and regional corporation rules and service rules in educational institutes will be preferred.
