Roles and Responsibilities1. Implementation and Maintenance of Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing Systems, 5S Methodology:Implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with industry standards.Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions to ensure consistent quality practices.Drive quality improvement initiatives by applying Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.Support Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other lean tools to enhance quality and productivity.Collaborate with the production team to streamline processes and eliminate non-value-added activities.Promote and enforce the 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) within the production and quality departments.Conduct regular 5S audits to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workplace.Train team members on 5S practices and foster a culture of workplace organization and safety.2. Process Quality Assurance:Conduct process audits to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or deviations from the standard.Work closely with the production team to establish process controls and eliminate potential issues.3. Customer Complaint Handling:Investigate customer complaints regarding quality issues and provide root cause analysis.Develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address and prevent recurring problems.Communicate resolutions and updates to customers promptly.4. Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze quality performance metrics, such as defect rates, scrap rates, and first-pass yield.Use statistical tools to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.Prepare detailed reports in MS Excel for senior management.
