The Role The Lead Business Ops Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence within the STEPN organization. This role involves overseeing business operations, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the efficient execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business operations, project management, and a deep understanding of the technology and security landscapes. The Main Responsibilities Contribute to business operations within the STEPN organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Manage the tactical pieces of overall strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the execution of key projects and initiatives. Assist in creating and collating information for presentations for STEPN leadership activities like townhalls, board meetings, and more. Collate and analyze key STEPN data for various projects, presentations, and reporting needs. Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Provide partnership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Act as a liaison between the STEPN organization and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Identify, analyze, develop, and document process improvements. Partner with middle management on process management and improvements. What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Consulting level typically with 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree. 4+ years of experience with a Masters degree. Proven experience in business operations, project management, or a similar role within a technology or security-focused organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Knowledge of the technology and security landscape, with an understanding of industry trends and best practices. Agile mindset with the ability to manage various objectives, priorities, and projects at once with competing deadlines.
