JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE Lead Data & Analytics DEPARTMENT IT LOCATION Bangalore REPORTING TO CTO COMPANY & BACKGROUND Dairy Day is one of Indias largest ice cream brands. Over the last 20+ years, we have built a formidable presence across South & West India and are continuously expanding across the country, selling to over 60,000+ retailers. Dairy Day manufactures and supplies products across a variety of cups, cones, sticks, tubs, and other special packaging with over 30+ flavors. The company has state of the art manufacturing facilities in Karnataka with a production capacity of 2.5 Lakh liters/day. We are looking to hire a full-time Lead - Data and Analytics role who will be responsible for overseeing the data and analytics initiatives within the company. This role will focus on leveraging data to provide insights that drive strategic business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, a strong understanding of the consumer goods industry, and the ability to work through partners to deliver our transformation agenda. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives. Oversee the collection, storage, management , and analysis of large volumes of data from various sources. Ensure data accuracy, integrity , and security by implementing best practices in data governance and compliance with relevant regulations. Be conversant with modern BI architectures and leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data solutions. Demonstrate expertise on BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker , etc., to deliver robust data visualization and reporting solutions. Architect and manage data warehouses and data lakes to ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient data storage and retrieval. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance, to understand their data needs and develop the appropriate reporting capabilities Stay up to date with the latest data analytics technologies and tools and recommend their adoption to enhance data capabilities. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENT Academic Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Professiona l 12 -14 years of overall experience, with at least 4-5 years in a similar role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Strong business acumen and technical understanding of modern BI architecture(s) ( AWS , Azure , GCP Building complete warehouse , Data lakes , Reports . Dashboards , Data Modelling , ETL ) Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, Tableau). Regression Analysis ,Data Science ( Informatics , Micro Strategy , SQL Server , Control Tower, Demonstrated experience in architecting data warehouses or data lake solutions, data and reporting products and services Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIESFUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES Planning and Time Management Influencing Skills.
