Position : Lead Data Scientist Location: Nagpur/Pune/Chennai/Bengaluru Type of Employment: Fulltime Purpose of the Position: The Senior Data Scientist will lead the development and implementation of advanced data analytics and machine learning models to drive strategic decision-making and innovation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, optimize processes, and deliver actionable insights that enhance business performance and customer experience. Key Result Areas and Activities: Model Development and Deployment: Develop, validate, and deploy advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems. Ensure models are scalable, efficient, and maintainable. Data Strategy and Management: Lead the design and implementation of data strategies, including data collection, storage, and processing. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data sources and systems. Business Insights and Decision Support: Translate data findings into actionable business insights and recommendations. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives. Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Lead cross-functional teams in data science projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning. Proactively explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance data analytics capabilities. Essential Skills: Advanced Statistical Analysis: Proficiency in statistical methods and tools for data analysis. Machine Learning: Expertise in developing, deploying, and optimizing supervised and unsupervised machine learning models and Gen AI Data bases: Experience in Snowflake, Mongo DB Cosmos DB Programming Languages: Strong skills in Python, R, and SQL. Tools: Experience on Jupiter Notebook, GIT etc. Big Data Technologies: Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or other big data frameworks. Data Engineering: Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipeline development. Desirable Skills: Deep Learning: Familiarity with neural networks and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Data Visualization: Ability to create compelling visualizations using tools like Streamlit, Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Natural Language Processing (NLP): Understanding of NLP techniques and applications. Business Acumen: Ability to translate complex data insights into business strategies. Project Management: Skills in managing data science projects from conception to deployment. Qualifications: Education: Ph.D. or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Experience: Over 10 years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and teams. Certifications: Relevant certifications in data science, machine learning, or big data technologies are a plus.
