Learn more at gradiant.com Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to lead and support the electrical engineering aspects of our water and wastewater treatment projects (WTP/WWTP/STP/ETP/Desalination). This role involves technical leadership, cross-discipline collaboration, design review, and site execution support to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the electrical design and engineering team throughout all project phases. Provide technical expertise in the design, review, and implementation of electrical systems. Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), layouts, data sheets, and technical specifications. Conduct power system modeling and load analysis to ensure optimal performance. Ensure compliance with international standards, local codes, and project requirements. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into overall plant design. Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations and vendor selection. Guide and mentor junior electrical engineers and support staff. Participate in project meetings, design reviews, FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests), and site visits as required. Prepare erection and commissioning documents. Provide on-site technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in electrical systems for water treatment plants (WTP/WWTP/STP/ETP/Desal). Proficiency in electrical equipment sizing: transformers, cables, earthing, lighting, etc. Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, layouts, and system integration. Experience with power system load modeling, cable sizing, and equipment selection. Understanding of mechanical and process discipline interfaces in multidisciplinary design. Ability to interpret and develop engineering drawings and documentation. Familiarity with relevant international and local electrical standards and regulations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders. Gradiant is an equal opportunity employer.
