Lead Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation

Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1) Complete technical knowledge of Process Control instruments for Level / Flow/ Temperature/ Pressure instruments & analyser etc. with its applicable codes & Standards for water/ waste water treatment plants 2) Technical knowledge of control system with I/Os & PLC, Panels, various Wiring Diagrams, Cable Schedule, hook up etc. 3) Study the basic input engg doc like P&ID, layout, process description etc and verify with tender specifications , MOM, Addendums to generate detailed engineering drawings and documents like - Design basis - Instrument schedule & I/O list - Purchase requisition with enquiry data sheet for all instruments, PLC/ SCDA/ RIO panels and hardware & bulk items etc with BOQ estimation - Review of Cable routing and tray layouts - Interaction with vendor for technical negotiations and approval of the specification - Review of vendor documents and technical clearances - Issue Good for Manufacturing clearance on post ordering vendor documents 4) PLC, FAT Exposure will be an added advantage 5) Interaction with internal customers for feedback on the drawings and documents 6) Quality Engineering deliverables having full technical Specifications with applicable codes, contract compliance, BOQ/ cost variance. 7) Adherence to Project timelines/ schedule of detail engineering drg /doc 8) Maintain engineering documents submission and approval track record 9) Follow-up and approvals from client/consultant in coordination with projects 10) Site visit as and when required
