Interested candidates, kindly mail to enpcareers.hr@ril.com Main Purpose: Lead flow assurance engineer shall be responsible for leading flow assurance related design and engineering for subsea field development including flow assurance related facilities installed on FPSO, offshore platform and surface. The flow assurance lead shall have operating knowledge of OLGA and other flow assurance software such as PIPESIM, PVTSIM and MULTIFLASH. Lead flow assurance engineer shall be responsible for defining flow assurance and wax / hydrate management strategy for steady state and transient state operations. Job Accountabilities: Lead Flow assurance Engineer shall be responsible for flow assurance (including wax & hydrate mitigation) analysis, design and engineering. He would be required to define operating strategies for safe, optimal and reliable operations. Define scope of flow assurance work for conceptual engineering, FEED and detailed engineering stages. Prepare input data for flow assurance studies after interfacing with subsurface group. Analysis & selection of optimal flow assurance strategy for subsea field development involving multiphase flow. Selection, optimization and definition of strategies for mitigation and remediation of hydrates and wax including injection of MEG / Methanol / KHI / LDHI, depressurization, heat tracing, insulation, etc. Conduct and review flow assurance studies for steady state and transient operations including flow hydraulics from well bore to processing facilities, line sizing, slugging potential, heating / cool down time, etc. Perform various sensitivity studies, thermal modelling in OLGA and “what if” scenarios for gas and oil field to provide inputs for planning operational strategies. Formulate Operating Philosophy and supporting documentation for the Subsea system Formulate field Operating Procedures with regard to start-up, shutdown, restarts and steady state operations. Define chemical injection requirements. Support integrity assessments, providing input to corrosion and erosion risk assessments. Review and support preparation of project deliverables (design basis, subsea P&IDs, etc.) having interface with flow assurance work. Skills Required: Understanding of subsea production system, well performance analysis, Single Phase and Multiphase flow analysis Understanding of flow assurance issues and hydrate mitigation measures Knowledge of Flow assurance challenges in mature fields, Reservoir engineering and artificial lifts Systems Proficiency in MS-office applications and presentation skills Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Petroleum / chemical Engineering Hands on experience with process simulation software – OLGA, PIPESIM, PVTSIM, MULTIFLASH etc. Minimum 8 -10 years of experience in Flow Assurance and Oil & gas subsea field operations.
