Lead Fullstack Developer (Angular with Node)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Frontend Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for leading the development of our user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Angular, with a strong understanding of modern frontend development practices. Experience with React is a significant plus. You will also have a solid understanding of backend technologies and cloud platforms, enabling you to work effectively across the full stack and contribute to architectural decisions. Responsibilities: Frontend Development & Leadership: Lead the development and maintenance of complex web applications using Angular (and optionally React). Architect and implement scalable and maintainable frontend solutions. Mentor and guide junior and mid-level frontend developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends, and recommend improvements. Optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into functional and visually appealing user interfaces. Backend & Full-Stack Collaboration: Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend and backend systems. Possess a working knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js, Java, or Python. Understand and utilize RESTful APIs and other data exchange formats. Contribute to database design and optimization, particularly with PostgreSQL. Cloud & Infrastructure: Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and manage frontend applications. Understand cloud-native architectures and best practices. Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines. Database Management: Interact with and design database schemas with Postgres. Write and optimize SQL queries. Understand database best practices. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 9+ years of professional experience in frontend development. Expertise in Angular framework (versions 8+). Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. Experience with state management patterns (e.g., NgRx, Redux). Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Karma, Cypress). Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. Experience with Git version control. Preferred: Experience with React framework. Experience with backend development using Node.js, Java, or Python. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience working with Postgres Databases. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
