Lead Model Based Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Model Based Systems Engineer with a strong background in avionics development and proficiency in MBSE tools such as Magic. Deep knowledge of standards such as ARP4754A and ARP4761 are must. If your work has been through FAA certification process in past, that would be preferred. What You ll Do Develop and manage system models for avionics architecture and design using CATIA Magic or similar MBSE tools Lead or contribute to the development of avionics systems, including requirements definition, functional analysis, safety analysis and system architecture modeling Support the integration of avionics systems into aircraft platforms, ensuring alignment with requirements and interfaces Ensure systems engineering processes and generated artifacts comply with relevant industry safety standards (ARP4754A, ARP4761) Perform system simulations, validation and verification, collaborating with software and hardware teams to ensure robust system performance Capture, analyze and trace system as well as implementation requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Who You are Subject Matter Expert and Practitioner in Systems Engineering with hands-on SE experience pertaining to multi-disciplinary systems in regulated safety critical industries like aerospace and automotive 5+ years of MBSE based avionics systems development experience Strong understanding of ARP4754A, ARP4761 and certification process experience relevant to agencies such as FAA, EASA Experience of contributing to functional safety activities (SSA, FHA, FMEA, FTA, ZSA, etc.) for various aircraft systems Strong understanding of Data Models and Digital Thread integration of tools
