Job Description

Purpose of the Role The role will be responsible to develop, configure and periodically monitor product plan in the non vehicular space through institutionalized product cycle planning process, which are in line with corporate strategy, brand, customer insights, technology, road map and competitive intelligence. Job Responsibility Strategy & Development Contribute in defining and implementing the product strategy and best practice in policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance Ability to capture and specify the design requirements and the development and validation needed to deliver successful systems, products and components to meet/exceed the customer’s specifications Hold responsibility for departmental budget, Cost and managing projects to agreed budgets Product Planning Plan and Execute systems to create a range of models for a number of production and development systems, products, and components. Analyse the data and conduct the process for portfolio level product prioritization considering external parameters through view of future and also optimising internal parameters like resource availability, capex etc Create review system for product planning and also process for Stakeholders review. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of employees and customers. Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance. Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the planning strategy. Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market change and potential effects on engineering design and development. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimising cost Be updated on any technology changes that may affect planning & engineering design and development. People Management Assign resources as per project and product strategy. Ensure the delivery of the People Strategy within area of accountability, Motivate the team for operational success. Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance are recorded.
