Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Software Test Lead to oversee and coordinate our software testing efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of testers, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The Software Test Lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies, define test plans, and execute testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of software testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness and productivity. Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals, requirements, and acceptance criteria, and translate them into comprehensive testing strategies and plans. Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of testable software builds and participate in design reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects. Execute functional, regression, performance, and other types of testing as required, utilizing manual and automated testing techniques and tools. Identify, prioritize, and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Monitor and report on testing progress, including test coverage, test results, and defect metrics, to project stakeholders and management. Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality across projects. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing, and advocate for their adoption within the organization. Act as a subject matter expert on software testing practices, providing guidance and support to team members and other stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience of 8+ years in software testing, leadership or management role. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit) Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional Agile teams. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet tight deadlines.
