Job Description

Role & responsibilities Plan and prepare unit / lessons plan that inspire, motivate, and challenge students, as per the specified learning outcomes set by the awarding body. Ensure curriculum, assessment plan, and assignment brief are up to date and fit for the purpose. Develop, implement and maintain the assessment plans and program of study and schemes of work for different levels of studies. Design the teaching-learning activities ensuring the principles of constructive alignment’, and with effective student engagement activities. Active participation in Professional Development Programmes. Plan and deliver captivating lectures and workshops on subjects/modules assigned to you. Contribute efficiently across all aspects of program delivery including lecturers, assessment and marking. Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure they are aligned with the latest research, industry trends and best practices. Teach the assigned modules in different delivery modes including in-campus, online and blended. Prepare assignment briefs, and exam question papers. Follow-up with students on timely assignment submissions Provide constructive feedback to facilitate the academic skills and scholarship of the students. Conduct internal verification of units and qualifications, as instructed by the Academic Head. To work with the awarding bodies on curriculum development and quality assurance processes. Attend various meetings as required, to contribute to the decision-making process and to develop productive working relationships within the various teams you will be engaged with Provide various reports related to teaching learning activities and student engagement. Monitor issues and concerns related to students and implement activities for the enhancement of student learning experience. Coordinate effectively with student support team to ensure our students have the full support and guidance they need. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and engage with students and parents as and when required. To undertake other duties, including extracurricular activities and events, as directed by the Head of the Department Preferred candidate profile Candidate must be experienced in teaching UK curriculum or involving in academic administration of UK Curriculum.
