Job Description

Role & responsibilities Prepare, review, and negotiate various types of agreements, including but not limited to, contracts, licenses, leases, service agreements, and vendor agreements. Ensure that these agreements accurately reflect the intentions of the parties involved secure company risks, and comply with legal requirements. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure that Agreements comply with all legal requirements. Contract Drafting, vetting & negotiation etc. Handling administrative tasks such as maintaining legal files, MIS and databases, scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and other clerical duties to support the efficient functioning of the legal department. Routine legal advice to business and operations units and conduct legal research on various topics. Drafting, reviewing, supporting in filing opposition Notices, Evidence Affidavits, handling Company IPR Portfolio, timely renewal of all Domestic and International Company Trademarks etc. Coordinate external Consultants for routine IPR tasks and closure of the same, MIS etc. The position requires single handed operation which require understanding the need of the business team, doing research, advising them and formulating Agreement drafts accordingly. Preferred candidate profile Legal Knowledge: In-depth understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to manufacturing, including labor laws, environmental regulations, product liability, intellectual property, contracts, and corporate law. Contract Management: Ability to draft, review, negotiate, and manage various types of contracts such as supplier agreements, distribution agreements, licensing agreements, and employment contracts. Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to the manufacturing industry, such as health and safety regulations, environmental laws, and industry-specific standards.
