Job Description: Legal Manager Franchise Acquisition & Compliance Location : New Delhi Experience : Minimum 4+ years in the legal sector, preferably in the courier or logistics industry. Qualification : LLB Role & Responsibilities Franchise Acquisition Legal Support Draft, review, and negotiate franchise agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and local regulations. Provide legal guidance during franchise acquisition processes, including due diligence and compliance checks. Assist in structuring franchise models to mitigate legal risks and ensure profitability. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure company compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Monitor changes in legal and regulatory frameworks affecting franchise operations. Handle legal audits and inspections related to franchise operations and other business areas. Legal Query Handling and Operations Address legal queries and disputes arising from franchisees, vendors, or other stakeholders. Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, or legal proceedings related to franchise issues. Maintain and update the companys legal documentation and contract repository. Policy Development and Training Develop and implement legal policies and frameworks for franchise operations. Train internal teams and franchisees on compliance, contract terms, and dispute resolution. Litigation and Redressal Handle franchise-related litigation, ensuring timely redressal of disputes. Collaborate with external counsel when necessary for high-stakes litigation. Prepare reports and updates for senior management on legal issues and risk mitigation strategies. Preferred Candidate Profile Educational Qualification : LLB from a recognized institution. Additional certifications in corporate law, compliance, or franchise law (preferred). Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience in the legal sector, with a focus on the courier, logistics, or related industries. Proven experience in handling franchise agreements, compliance, and operational legal matters. Skills and Competencies : Strong knowledge of franchise laws, compliance frameworks, and risk management. Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple legal cases and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders, franchisees, and regulatory bodies.
