Level 3 IT Technician - Emdep

Job Description

We are looking for the Level 3 IT Technician who will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting complex IT systems, including Windows and Linux servers, networking infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and security. Minimum Requirements: Requirements and Knowledge Level 3 IT Technician, Minimum and Necessary Knowledge (Essential Requirements), Microsoft Systems, Linux Systems, Email Management, Backup Systems, Networks and Connectivity, Virtualization, Storage (NetApp). Key Responsibilities: Configure and troubleshoot Layer 3 networks, including VLANs, subnets, routing, and VPN tunnels. (Palo Alto firewalls) Server Administration Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Server 2022 and 2025. Manage Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD, including policies, users, and security configurations. Administer Linux servers, ensuring stability, security, and performance. Configure and manage Windows clustering services. Email and Backup Management Administer Microsoft Exchange mail servers and Microsoft 365 Online Exchange. Implement and manage Veeam Backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and recovery options. Oversee backup operations, including tape drive management. Networking and Connectivity Configure and troubleshoot Layer 3 networks, including VLANs, subnets, routing, and VPN tunnels. Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues and ensure optimal connectivity. Manage and optimize network performance through advanced configuration. Virtualization and Storage Maintain and troubleshoot ESXi and vSphere virtualization environments. Manage NetApp storage solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security. Security and Compliance Implement best practices for security hardening and network segmentation. Monitor and manage firewall rules and security policies. Ensure compliance with IT security regulations and data protection policies. Skills: Experience with Huawei switches. Implementation and administration of WiFi in Aruba. Security policies management (hardening) and network segmentation. Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services). Administration and optimization of MySQL databases. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or similar. Mandatory Skills: Advanced experience with security devices and Palo Alto firewalls.
