Job Title: Library Coordinator LiSo (Child-Led Library) Company: Museum of Solutions Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai Experience: 2+ years Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Museums / Libraries / Education Functional Area: Library, Education, Child Engagement Job Description: The Library of Solutions (LiSo) at the Museum of Solutions is a free, child-led lending library that encourages creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. We’re looking for a Library Coordinator to manage daily operations, engage children in meaningful ways, and maintain an inclusive, sensory-sensitive environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily library operations, book lending, and cataloging Support and mentor children in leading storytelling, book clubs, and other library activities Maintain a calm, quiet, and sensory-friendly space Coordinate with internal teams for book curation and inclusive programming Build partnerships with schools, authors, and community groups Maintain library inventory and basic reporting Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Literature, Library Science, or similar 2+ years experience working with children in educational or informal learning spaces Strong organizational and communication skills Passion for children’s books and learning Comfortable using basic digital tools Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Knowledge of Indian children’s literature Experience working in inclusive or neurodiverse-friendly settings Multilingual (Hindi/Marathi a plus) About Us: The Museum of Solutions (MuSo) is a space where children lead the way in learning, problem-solving, and creating a better world.
