Position Name : Local Disposition Department : Logistics Qualification : Diploma Engineer / Graduate Engineer Experience : 2 years - 7 years Location : Pune (Chakan) Reporting to : Local Disposition Section Head Purpose of the Position: 1. To organize parts from local sourcing - direct parts and direct consumables. 2. To achieve milestones of SOP-EOP for local parts. 3. To optimize inventory of locally sourced parts. 4. Control the obsolescence cost during the model year change & product EOP 5. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to terms and conditions Skills Required: Critical: ERP/MRP process & systems, analytical & problem solving skills. Technical: SAP, MS office, Inventory / ECN management, Supply chain knowledge, Obsolescence management Behavioral: Strong organizing, communication, problem solving, Customer orientation Key Responsibilities &Tasks: Manages methodically material Planning & scheduling of local parts. ensure the material availability at plant as per production plan. Analyses and evaluates impact on parts availability status in case of plan changes, special requirements & capacity constrain at supplier. Analyses inventory level and propose actions to controls and maintain it as per defined target Analyses non-moving parts and define actions to reduce the same. Maintain material master in SAP. Organizes meeting with supplier/service providers to resolve issues arising in and during the flow of material from supplier to plant Pune and to build good business relationship with supplier. Analyses and verifies actions on mix-up issues and reduction in same related to suppliers Evaluates supplier performance monthly. Monitors and control adherence to the action plan for performance and efficiency improvement of suppliers. Releases job instructions to resolve mix-up issues, special packaging issues. Decides to debit/charge back/credit to the supplier the cost of actions to resolve suppler issues. Recommend the solution during shortages, ECN changes, calculation for cut off, RPMA, BKM forum for continuous production and zero obsolescence. Analyses and resolves issues related to in-warding of parts because of errors in invoices, packaging instructions and change in transport mode from local suppliers Monitor, evaluate and keep record of supplier audit and take actions for improvement. Approves and supports the parts requirement for special purpose like SPD, motor sport & testing car requirement. Approves and informs internal agencies to raise debit note against the suppliers based on supplier handbook. Analyses the vehicle utilization for selected suppliers based on call off and recommends change in the pickup schedule for maximum utilization. Analyses the impact of short supplies, wrong supplies, rejections of material on availability of material for production.
