Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing the efficient movement of goods across our supply chain, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effective operations, and the coordination of transportation, inventory, and documentation. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with our clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure a seamless flow of operations. Key Responsibilities: Shipment Coordination: Organize and schedule shipments, ensuring they meet deadlines and customer requirements. Monitor all shipments and keep stakeholders informed on their progress. Transportation Management: Coordinate with third-party carriers to arrange transportation for goods and materials. Ensure proper routing and optimize shipping schedules for cost efficiency. Inventory Management: Track and maintain inventory levels to ensure availability of products while minimizing excess stock. Update inventory systems to reflect real-time stock levels. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations. Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations and international trade laws. Problem-Solving: Address issues related to shipments, including delays, damages, or discrepancies. Resolve these issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. Customer Service: Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment status, address concerns, and resolve any issues related to logistics and deliveries. Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and any issues or delays. Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance to management. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required and bachelor’s degree Experience: 6 months to 1 year Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management systems. Knowledge of transportation methods, customs regulations, and import/export processes. Ability to analyse and solve problems effectively.
