Job Description

Role & responsibilities Freight Forwarding & Shipment Coordination Handle end-to-end freight forwarding processes for import/export shipments. Ensure on-time delivery of shipments by closely monitoring transit schedules. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters. Customs Clearance & Documentation: Prepare and manage Bill of Entry (BOE) and ensure smooth customs clearance. Handle Letter of Credit (LC) documentation for import/export transactions. Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and procedures. Work with CHAs and customs officials to resolve clearance-related issues. High Sea Sales & Warehousing: Draft and review High Sea Sales Agreements ensuring compliance with legal frameworks. Manage customs warehousing documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping. Monitor warehouse operations to ensure efficient cargo handling. Track shipments in real time and take proactive measures for timely deliveries. Identify and penalize forwarders for late deliveries as per agreement terms. Work under tight deadlines and manage urgent shipments effectively. Preferred candidate profile 6+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, and customs clearance Strong knowledge of BOE, LC, high sea sales, and warehousing documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reports). Excellent email drafting and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shipments simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. Knowledge of ERP software for logistics and documentation management Understanding of international trade compliance and INCOTERMS. Experience in penalizing forwarders for delays and ensuring strict adherence to timelines.
