Job Overview: We are looking for a Logistics Incharge to oversee and manage the day-to-day logistics operations, including inventory control, order processing, transportation, and warehouse coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Order & Shipment Management: • Supervise the processing and dispatch of orders. • Ensure proper packaging and labeling of shipments. • Coordinate with courier partners for timely delivery and tracking. 2. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination: • Monitor and maintain stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of inventory. 3. Vendor & Transport Coordination: • Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to streamline operations. • Negotiate contracts and service terms with transporters. • Ensure timely pickups and deliveries with minimal delays. 4. Process Optimization & Cost Control• Implement strategies to reduce logistics costs without compromising efficiency. • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the supply chain. • Use technology and automation tools for better tracking and reporting. 5. Customer Service & Returns Handling: • Address customer complaints regarding delivery delays or damaged goods. • Oversee the returns process and reverse logistics. • Maintain strong communication with internal teams to resolve issues quickly. 6. Compliance & Safety: • Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies and government regulations. • Enforce safety procedures for handling and transportation of goods. • Maintain proper documentation for shipping, invoicing, and taxation. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelors degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations. • Familiarity with inventory management systems and order processing software. • Strong coordination and communication skills. • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS). • Experience in handling third-party logistics (3PL) providers. • Proficiency in using Excel and logistics software for reporting.
