Motive India requires a bookkeeper who can process, control and report all aspects of Finance operations including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Payroll, accruals and prepayments. Supported by external professionals where needed, the role is also responsible for ensuring compliance with government filings and payment regulations in India, such as Statutory Audit, CIT, TDS, GST, EPFO, N-STPI, Softex and Transfer Pricing. The Jr Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial operations run smoothly and support the growth of Motive India and Motive group.Main Responsibility Areas:Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets.Process bank transactions in a timely and efficient manner, performing regular bank reconciliations.Full responsibility for Motive India Trial balance including monthly reconciliation of each Balance sheet itemMaintain good relationships with banks and external professional advisersIn cooperation with HR and the payroll provider, prepare and process payroll, including employee net payments, pension, benefits and tax reporting and settlements. Ensure all government filings and payments are completed by Motive India or the payroll provider where contractedEnsure employees expenses are approved on time and paid with the payroll cyclesProcess, obtain approvals and pay all Motive India AP invoices.Manage collections for Motive India Sales Invoices Produce and manage settlement of Intercompany Transfer Price InvoicesMaintain intercompany co-employment agreements and tracking file.
