Job Title: Chief EngineerDepartment: Engineering & MaintenanceReports To: Director of OperationsJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer (Electrical) to lead our maintenance team across multi-specialty operations including a restaurant, caf, stays, and a convention center. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, expertise in multi-facility maintenance, and the ability to ensure seamless operations.Key Responsibilities: Engineering & Maintenance Operations:Oversee all electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.Ensure smooth functionality of power distribution, backup generators, and fire safety systems.Implement and manage a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) program. Team Management & Leadership:Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance and engineering team.Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Multi-Facility Management:Ensure maintenance efficiency across restaurant, caf, stays, and convention center.Address day-to-day operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. Compliance & Safety:Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards, fire codes, and health regulations.Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with local laws. Energy Management & Cost Optimization:Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving strategies.Work on sustainability initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Vendor & Budget Management:Manage outsourced contractors, service providers, and vendors for repairs and maintenance.Control maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.Required Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 8+ years of experience in engineering & maintenance, preferably in hotels, restaurants, or convention centers. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety protocols. Ability to manage a team, troubleshoot issues, and work under pressure. Familiarity with energy efficiency, sustainability practices, and preventive maintenance software.
