Job Title: MAC Systems Engineer Location: Bangalore HO Department: IT Reports To: Head IT /IS Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Systems Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network and server infrastructure. This includes performing basic network troubleshooting, server troubleshooting, and providing technical support to our staff. Key Responsibilities: Perform basic network troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues. Conduct server troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Monitor network and server health and respond to alerts. Assist with the installation, configuration, and upgrading of network devices and servers. Maintain and update documentation related to network and server infrastructure. Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex technical issues. Provide technical support to end-users and ensure timely resolution of IT-related problems. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support. Escalate to OEM support as and when needed and work closely for incident closure Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in network and server troubleshooting 4-5 Yrs experience in similar role will be ideal. Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and hardware. Familiarity with network security practices and procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus. Skills: Provide IT support for Mac users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and maintain macOS devices, ensuring optimal performance and security. Manage and support Mac-based applications, including Microsoft Office for Mac, Adobe Creative Suite, and other business software. Assist with system updates, patch management, and security configurations on Mac devices. Support integration of Mac systems with Windows-based networks, cloud services, and enterprise applications. Manage and maintain mobile device management (MDM) solutions such as Jamf or Apple Business Manager. Provide guidance and training to end users on Mac best practices and IT security policies. Collaborate with the IT team to improve workflows and implement IT solutions for enhanced efficiency. Troubleshoot peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and external storage devices used with Mac systems.
