Job Description

Role & responsibilities Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2. • Maintain and enhance existing mainframe applications. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Perform impact analysis, code reviews, and unit testing. • Participate in system integration and user acceptance testing. • Troubleshoot production issues and provide support as needed. • Document technical designs and operational procedures. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams. Preferred candidate profile 6 to 8 Years of experience. Professional experience in Mainframe COBOL, IBM z / OS tools . Ability to analyze existing applications code and to create with working flow documentation. Ability to establish a technical test book. Ability to understand and take ownership of a DB2 data model.
