Mainframe Storage Lead - 9+ years - Hyderabad - contract only

Job Description

Mainframe Storage Lead Location: Hyderabad (3 times a week WFO) Contract duration :12 months Key Responsibilities: Experience with Z OS storage, with some only having touched a tape device or still mounting tapes. Experience with IBM and Z OS, leadership skills, and the ability to coach and train the team. Very important of the new hire being able to run projects and take ownership of tasks. Must have experience with IBM and zOS, as these are critical for the role. VTL Refresh: will be involved in a VTL refresh, which may drive the need for a new provider of VTL technology. Safeguarded Copy: The team is currently installing safeguarded copy, and the new hire will be involved in this project. Cyber Vault: may also work on Cyber Vault, which involves tooling around safeguarded copy to help with forensics and other tasks. MUST HAVE : Mainframe people must have DS8000 IBM Storage on Mainframe is a must have and have to be on the resume. Also, anyone with immutable copy is what Customer is moving to.
