We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support our business initiatives at our manufacturing facility located at Markal, Pune. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring safe working conditions, adhering to relevant regulations, troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, and ensuring the reliable operation of all electrical equipment. You shall also be responsible for keeping records of the periodic inspections, keep a register of recommended safety requirements as per relevant regulations. Other areas of your duties would be to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize processes, assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment. Ensure adherence to electrical safety regulations, standards, and procedures. Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards. Provide safety training and education to ensure personnel are aware of safe work practices. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and safety procedures. Work with other departments, including engineering and production, to ensure electrical systems align with operational requirements and safety standards. Participate in emergency response procedures related to electrical equipment or systems. Ensure a clean and safe work area in accordance with Health and Safety policies and procedures. Conduct toolbox talks for Safety, Quality topics. Participate in Lean programs to improve process and productivity. You report directly to the Factory Manager.
