Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Maintenance Management: Maintain SOP Schedule and monitor routine maintenance and repairs on all company vehicles, machinery and facilities 2. Team Leadership: Lead, train and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and staff Foster a culture of safety, efficiency and continuous improvement within the team. 3. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and vehicles. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status. 4. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Troubleshooting and Repairs Coordinate and perform repairs as needed, ensuring timely resolution of problems. 5. Inventory Management: Manage and maintain and inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment. Ensure timely procurement of necessary supplies and maintain cost-effective stock levels. 6. Vendor Coordination: Establish and maintain relationship with external service providers and vendors. Coordinate and oversee outsourced maintenance and repair services. 7. Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance department budget. 8. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment status and budget and performance. Preferred candidate profile Proven experience in a maintenance management role with a logistics industry. Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic systems. Ability to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies. Proficiency in using Maintenance Management software and tools. Proficient in using MS Office - (Excel, Word & Power point). Strong problem solving and decision making abilities. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
