Job Description

Technical Skills Maintenance Management : Deep understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies. Equipment Knowledge : Strong grasp of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, instrumentation, or utility systems (depending on the industry). Root Cause Analysis (RCA) : Ability to identify causes of equipment failure and implement lasting solutions. CMMS Expertise : Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Infor EAM). Reliability Engineering : Understanding of tools like FMEA, RCM, TPM, and Six Sigma for improving equipment uptime. Leadership & Team Management Team Supervision : Managing technicians, engineers, and support staff effectively. Training & Development : Ensuring the team is skilled in safety, tools, and procedures. Workforce Planning : Efficient deployment of human resources for planned and emergency jobs. Planning & Organizational Skills Budget Management : Planning and controlling maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and resource usage. Project Management : Leading shutdowns, equipment overhauls, retrofitting, and infrastructure upgrades. Asset Lifecycle Management : Overseeing the entire lifecycle from installation to decommissioning. Process & Compliance Knowledge Safety & Compliance : Ensuring adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) standards and regulatory requirements. Audit Readiness : Keeping records and systems ready for internal and external audits. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) : Creation and enforcement of maintenance SOPs. Communication & Coordination Cross-Functional Communication : Liaison with production, procurement, quality, and top management. Reporting & Documentation : Preparing downtime reports, maintenance KPIs, and monthly dashboards. Vendor Management : Dealing with OEMs, AMCs, and service providers. Technological Awareness Industry 4.0 & IIoT : Familiarity with smart maintenance practices like condition monitoring, IoT sensors, and predictive analytics. Energy Efficiency : Understanding of power-saving techniques and sustainability in operations.
