Job Description

Oversee finance functions and manage the finance team. Develop strategies for the finance team and advise on managing expenses for company operations. Prepare budgets, forecasts, valuations, and cash flows. Provide regular updates to Directors on finance statistics (weekly, monthly, half-yearly, and annually). Advise the operations team on legal and tax implications of product changes. Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., FLA, TDS returns, GST returns, income tax returns, PT, ESIC, PF). Prepare tax calculations, check investment proofs, handle Form 16, monthly salary sheets, and oversee salary payments. Draft legal notices for IT Act violations, copyright, and trademark issues. Review business agreements from a legal perspective. Prepare Form 15CA and 15CB for international remittances. Track monthly payments and ensure timely payments after necessary tax deductions. Follow up on receivables to minimize debtor days. Collaborate with other departments for budget setup, payments, and transactions. Work with external partners such as CA firms, lawyers, banks, and merchants to ensure smooth operations. Desired Qualities: CA degree with 3+ years of hands-on experience. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects independently. Strong communicator and team player. Experience in managing a team. Experience with mergers of entities is a plus.
