Responsible for planning and managing all sales and marketing activities that defines the sales plan, customer and regional commercial strategy, including sales, exports, customer services, etc. Responsible for achievement of both quantitative and qualitative sales objectives. Responsible for negotiations of major contracts, developing personal contacts with major clients. Responsible for developing staff/key managers to increase the talent level for the business development & sales Represent the business unit to our customers in a highly professional and ethical manner promoting product leadership in differential assembly & Gear Box systems technology. Supports with the development (with input from cross-functional teams) and manage requirements of customer. Articulates a clear understanding of our market share, competitive position. Develops and deploys the customer interface strategy (points of contact, frequency) and builds strong rapport with key decision makers. Develops proactive new business opportunity (NBO) plans, tracking for Gear box & Differential assembly segment. Monitors market dynamics, including customer and competitor developments and funnels relevant information to the appropriate Product Business Development AVP for consolidation in our market sensing process. Takes ownership of total customer satisfaction, monitoring our performance on key supplier metrics. Supports with regional sales forecasts for use in the LTP and monitors market trends throughout the year for use in monthly/quarterly forecast adjustments. Assures account teams compliance with contract review procedures and KTFL commercial policies Manages and motivates a supporting team of account/sales managers and customer liaison personnel. Responsible for thorough development plans, training and coaching of subordinates. Coordination of activity with Engineering / Operations.
