Role & responsibilities Design and implement secure, scalable, and robust cloud architectures primarily for built environment with timeseries data Lead the migration of existing legacy cloud infrastructures to modern cloud-based platforms, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime. Support for hosting and configuration of critical services like Kafka, Timeseries DB Enhancement of the scalable data and event pipeline across the stack Architectural design for convergence of different offers into a single unified offer for Small and Mid-Size Buildings Develop and deploy microservices architectures, actively participating in coding and development when necessary. Manage the full lifecycle of deployment from architecture design through integration and maintenance. Support for performance testing of critical infrastructure components (both existing and planned revamp) Guide and mentor teams in developing modern cloud solutions, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cloud computing to keep Schneider Electric at the forefront of technological innovation. Preferred candidate profile 10 15 years of overall experience in software engineering 5+ years in architect role for a cloud-based software product / platform with a proven track record of deploying cloud solutions in a large-scale environment supporting billions of data points per day.
