Role Summary: FuelBuddy is looking for a dynamic and target-driven Manager DG Set (Sales Strategy & Execution) to drive the growth and execution of our Diesel Generator (DG Set) business across India. This role blends forecasting, sales strategy, client acquisition, and technical execution , offering an exciting opportunity to scale a high-demand service vertical. The ideal candidate is someone who understands the commercial value of DG Sets , has a proven track record of project execution , and brings a deep network of local clients, dealers, and vendors in the fuel or power generation industry. Key Responsibilities: Sales Development & Client Engagement Identify and acquire new business opportunities for DG Set installations across sectors such as real estate, manufacturing, infrastructure, events, logistics, etc. Build long-term relationships with key clients, contractors, and facility managers to grow DG Set sales and service footprint. Work closely with the business development team to drive revenue from DG Set-related services and cross-sell FuelBuddy's fuel delivery offerings. Conduct regular market mapping and competitor analysis to stay ahead in the market. Project Planning & Execution Plan and manage end-to-end DG Set projects, including site surveys, procurement, installation, commissioning, and testing. Ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet both client expectations and FuelBuddy's operational standards. Drive project profitability while maintaining quality, cost control, and timely delivery. Dealer & Vendor Network Management Strengthen and expand FuelBuddy's dealer and supplier network for DG Sets and spare parts in the region. Negotiate commercial terms with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and service delivery. Collaborate with internal procurement and logistics teams for seamless execution. Technical Expertise & Problem Solving Offer pre-sales technical consultation and post-sales support to clients on DG Set sizing, configuration, and usage. Resolve technical issues efficiently and ensure minimal downtime or delays in project delivery. Stay updated with the latest trends and product innovations in DG Sets and backup power solutions. Compliance, Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of project proposals, contracts, execution milestones, and post-installation support. Ensure all work complies with regulatory norms and safety standards. Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, project progress, and client feedback to leadership. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in DG Set sales and project execution . Strong exposure to the Delhi/NCR market with a ready network of clients, DG Set vendors, and OEMs. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets while managing execution quality. Skills: Strong sales acumen , business planning & forecasting, negotiation skills, and client management abilities. In-depth knowledge of DG Set specifications, sizing, installation protocols, and troubleshooting. Proficient in project management tools , reporting dashboards, and CRM software. Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
