Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and growth-focused Ecommerce Sales Manager to drive revenue and profitability for a fast-growing fashion jewelry brand across D2C, marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Snapdeal), and Q-commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart). The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in scaling ecommerce revenue, managing high-volume, low-margin categories, and optimizing pricing, promotions, and platform relationships to drive aggressive growth. Key Responsibilities: Revenue Growth & P&L Management Own and drive top-line revenue growth while optimizing costs to improve profitability in a low-margin category. Develop a scalable pricing and discounting strategy to remain competitive without eroding margins. Lead the P&L for E-commerce & Q-commerce verticals, ensuring revenue targets are met while keeping operational costs in check. E-commerce & Marketplace Management Manage product listings, sales operations, and promotions across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and Snapdeal. Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBP) with platforms to secure high-visibility placements and better commercial terms. Work with Amazons category team as an Alpha Seller to maximize sales through platform insights and strategies. Optimize pricing dynamically based on competitor analysis, demand trends, and platform algorithms. Oversee inventory planning and demand forecasting to avoid stockouts or excess inventory. Q-commerce & Rapid Sales Expansion Build and manage Quick Commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart) strategies to tap into the fast-moving, impulse-buying segment. Develop a strong assortment strategy for Q-commerce, ensuring high availability of trending products. Campaigns, Promotions & Performance Marketing Work with internal teams and platform account managers to launch high-impact promotions, deal events, and festive sales campaigns . Optimize performance marketing campaigns (PPC, Sponsored Ads, Influencer Collaborations, Affiliate Marketing) to maximize ROI while maintaining CAC efficiency . Monitor conversion rates, click-through rates, and ROAS to refine digital marketing and merchandising strategies. Cross-functional Collaboration & Operational Efficiency Coordinate with product, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of new launches and promotional activities . Streamline order fulfillment and logistics to reduce delivery time and improve customer experience. Work with OEMs and suppliers to reduce procurement costs while maintaining product quality. Data-Driven Decision Making & Business Optimization Track and analyze category trends, customer insights, and competitor movements to stay ahead in the market. Regularly assess business risks and opportunities to fine-tune the sales strategy. Prepare weekly/monthly reports on revenue, margins, and operational performance to guide strategic decisions. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Revenue Growth Rate YoY and MoM sales performance across platforms Profitability & Gross Margin Improvement in margin % through cost optimizations Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Increasing sales per visitor Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) vs. Lifetime Value (LTV) Sell-Through Rate & Inventory Turnover – Ensuring healthy stock movement Marketplace Performance Score & Buy Box Win Rate Qualifications & Skills: Experience: 10 + years in E-commerce sales, category management, and marketplace operations. Industry Preference: Fashion Jewelry, Accessories, or FMCG with experience in high-volume, low-margin products . Expertise in Platforms: Strong knowledge of Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Snapdeal, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart , and D2C website management . Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze platform reports, category trends, and consumer behavior to drive decisions. Negotiation & Vendor Management: Skilled in negotiating better platform commissions, ad spends, and promotional deals . Tech-Savvy: Experience with ecommerce analytics tools, ad platforms (Google Ads, Amazon Ads), and inventory management software . Strong Leadership: Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
